SIZE AND THICKNESS OF THE METAL SHEET
The first step to create the code, related to the perfored metal sheet that you are loocking for, is find the size and the thickness.
In this page you are going to find the other directions to complete the code of your metal sheet.
A metal sheet can have lots of different sizes and thicknesses, according to the client needs.
The thickness goes from 0,8 to 1 cm.
There are STANDARD sizes (100x200 cm, 125x250 cm and 150x300 cm) and CUSTOMIZED sizes.
In the code, the sizes, have to be wrote in meters, and the thickness have to be wrote in millimeters.
Examples:
Metal sheet sized 100x100 cm will be wrote 1x1
Metal sheet sized 20x50 cm will be wrote 0,2x0,5
Metal sheet sized 100x200 cm, thickness 0,8 mm will be wrote 1x2x0,8
Metal sheet sized 125x250 cm, thickness 3 mm will be wrote 1,25x2,5x3
Metal sheet sized 150x300 cm, thickness 1,5 mm will be wrote 1,5x3x1,5
HOLES ARRANGEMENT
QUINCUNX (60°): identified with the letter "T" followed by the wheelbase p number. It is the commercial arrangement of the round holes. In that you find equilateral triangles starting from their centers in the vertices.
ALTERNATE TO 45°: identified with the letter "C" followed by the wheelbase p number. (If you have an integer value for c and consequently p would take on a fractional value, it is preferable to indicate the arrangement of the holes with the letter "Z" followed by the number indicating the value of c)
ALTERNATEidentified with the letter "Z" followed by the wheelbase p1 and p2 number. For drilling with R-C-CD-H type holes, the first center distance to indicate is the smaller one. In the case of drilling with CS-LR-LC type holes, the first center distance to indicate is the one measured parallel to the minor axis of the hole (p1).
EQUAL TO 90°: identified with the letter "U" followed by the wheelbase p1 and p2, that, in this disposal, got the same value.
IN LINE: identified with the letter "U" followed by the wheelbase p1 and p2. For drilling with R-C-CD type holes, the first center distance to indicate is the smaller one. In the case of drilling with CS-LR-LC type holes, the first center distance to indicate is the one measured parallel to the minor axis of the hole (p1).
Remember to specify, after the letter of the choosed disposition, the pitch measurement, which is calculated from the center of one hole to the center of the adjacent hole.
